Mar. 24, 1963 – Part 2 of the Disney film “Banner in the Sky” aired the episode called “The Killer Mountain.
Mar. 24, 1963 – The Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color TV series aired part-2 of the feature film “Kidnapped.”
Mar. 24, 1972 – The “Country Bear Jamboree” attraction opened in Frontierland at WDW.
Mar. 24, 1973 – Disneyland’s 7th themed land “Bear Country” opened. The Country Bear Jamboree attraction was the first to be imported to Anaheim from WDW.
Mar. 24, 1984 – Olympic Night at Disneyland raised $600,000 to benefit the U.S. Olympic Team.
Mar. 24, 1986 – “The Sword in the Stone” became the 4th “Walt Disney Classic” to be released on video.
Mar. 24, 1987 – French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac signed the Euro Disney Protocol with Michael Eisner.
Mar. 24, 1990 – The Disney Channel Premiere Film “Chips, the War Dog” aired.
Mar. 24, 1995 – The Disney film “Tall Tale” was released.
Mar. 24, 1995 – The Disney/Hollywood Pictures film “Funny Bones” was released.
