I know you can book them through the WDW site, but I thought I remembered someone saying on here that it was better to call the restaurant.

Is that correct, and if so, why exactly? Also - do they still do the 180 days out if you call them direct?

When I called them directly, I found a much better selection of times than on the Disney site. I don't know if it was a fluke, or if it is always like that, but for us, it was much better to call them.

Yes, I called at 180-days, just like Disney.

I was having trouble getting anything during dinner hours when I was using the WDW website. I called T-rex directly and had my choice of almost any time. I did call at 180 days out.

Thx - I checked the website & luckily found exactly the time slot I wanted so I wasn't sure if there was some other benefit from calling direct.

Depending on the size of your party, you may be able to do a walk in. We went in August--Super Busy time-- and we didn't make ressies. We went there one night and it was a 2 hour wait. Went back a couple of days later in the afternoon and we were seated within minutes. We were a family of 4. Hope this helps.:thumbsup:
