Is there any other way to get to chef mickeys rest from magic kingdom besides the monorail?

Walking. But other then that, it would be by monorail

You can walk. When you exit the park, there's a pathway that runs alongside the monorail to the the left of the bus stations - takes about 15 mintues.

I would actually recommend walking. Nice path, no crowd, no need to walk up the ramp to the mono rail.

Also agree with walking. No waiting and I think we did it in closer to 10 minutes. You'll get there quicker that way, especially if you ended up having to wait more than a minute or so for the monorail.

How about Ohana from the parks I hate that ramp to the monorail especially in the August heat.

You can take a boat from the Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian. This boat stops at both the Grand Floridian and the Poly.

To and from the Contemporary, I would always walk. When we are staying there in May, we may take it the first time there to give our children, 5 and 2, a chance to experience it. After that, we will walk since it is only about a ten minute walk from the MK to the CR.
