Have these improved over the past 3-4 years? I believe that is how long I have had mine. And now, it won't hold a charge! :thedolls: Example; I charged it Sunday and by Monday would not turn on. So I NEED another one, but wondering if I should just get one for the $50-$60 price range. Since it may have to be replaced in the next couple years or so. I loved my RED Kodak 10.3 mega pixel w/a 3x zoom. :( I had recently just started using the video camera part of it.

Before you give up on your camera, remove the battery and then re-insert it. That may fix the problem.:secret:

Thanx. But it has the battery built in. Just plug in and charge.

Since you want to replace your camera, why not open it up and see see if you can replace the battery yourself? I did this in the past and I was able to order a replacement battery online no problem.

If you're happy with the camera, I'd try replacing the battery before getting a new camera.
