Monorail to MK from Epcot resorts...

We'll be staying at Yacht Club. If we want to catch the monorail to MK for first thing in the morning, can we get through Epcot even if it isn't open yet? How do we do this? Have never stayed at one of the Epcot resorts before...

No, you cannot enter Epcot untill it opens. If Epcot has morning EMH you could enter the International Gateway at 8:00, walk through Epcot, and take the monorail to MK for 9:00 opening.

The bus or a cab are good options as well. If you take the monorail, you have to walk through Epcot, take the monorail to the TTC and switch to another monorail to MK (or take a boat). The bus is one shot and drops you off right at the entrance :thumbsup:

It probably makes more sense to take the bus to MK.

Don't forget, if Epcot is open early enough, you'll have to have the park hopper option, since your entry to Epcot will count, even if you're just walking through.

The buses from YC/BC to MK are very efficient. We found that catching an early morning bus, you'd go directly to MK; no stopping at any of the other resorts. The walk through Epcot all the way to the monorail, and then the ride over to TTC, then transfer monorail to MK process takes close to 45 min. The bus is much faster.

It makes much more sense to leave MK by monorail, go to Epcot, then return to your resort for a little relaxation. It's a great excuse to stop by the Rose & Crown Pub. :beer:

But as others stated, it isn't an efficient way to get to MK in the morning.
