INTERCOT.com has put together our Bracketology Challenge again this year for the folks who visit the site and keep it going all year long.
What's at stake? The three best bracketologists will receive INTERCOT.com swag! (Hey, we know it's not much but cut us a break, Free Stuff is Free Stuff!)
ONE ENTRY PER PERSON PLEASE - NAME YOUR ENTRY AS YOUR SCREEN NAME IS ON INTERCOT - so we all know who is winning!
You can sign up for the challenge by following the instructions below.
Should you finish in the top 3 spots, you will need to email john at intercot dot com to claim your prize.

#4 Louisville just went down to #13 Morehead St. Did not see that one coming, although we usually see a 12 or 13 seed pull one off every year.

Not only is my second place team Notre Dame going to lose in the second record, but they are going to lose to Florida State of all teams... :(

On the Texas game where the official blew the five second call, where did most analysts get the idea that after four seconds you can't call a timeout? I can't count how many I've heard mention that rule after it was changed years ago (I can't find when exactly, but I'm guessing the 90's at the latest). It was so long ago, that I've never even heard of it before. The ref blew the call, it's as simple as that.

Duke losing really helped me. I had them losing this round, but just to Texas...:mad:...I need Ohio State to win out and Florida to make it to the Final Four. All other games I'm hoping for upsets.

I don't know what these Gators were thinking. At the end of the game, you don't start your play until four seconds are left when you started with thirty seconds. Then you have two horrible three point shots at the end of overtime.
Thankfully all of these seniors are gone. They've never had basketball smarts and this just proved it...

I just saw that there were 5.9 million brackets in the ESPN Tournament Challenge and only TWO had the Final Four correct. Amazing!

It looks like I can win or at least tie for the lead, What is the prize? I have UConn winning but I have them playing Kent. so either way I get points for the game.

Yeah, I'd say anyone who has U. Conn or KY winning it all has a shot at winning the bracket.
Of course, they have to play the games first. :D

It appears that the only seven of those who submitted picked even one of the final four, and 6 of the 7 picked UCONN to win it all....so, with 160 points for a win in the semi-finals, the first 6 will move up to 1st through 6th, and Abby and AdamBomb85 will be tied for first....and if UCONN wins out, SCAR, the 6th UCONN picker, will jump from 66th to 6th. If UCONN loses out in the semi's, Wraith 13 wins it all, with Reedy Creek Buc and IanIJM tied for second....and SCAR remains in 66th, 3 places in front of Melanears 1!

So with UCONN winning Saturday night, the final standings are pretty much set in stone. The only things that can change are the top two people and Scar moving up from 30th to 6th if UCONN wins the championship. The winner of the top two peeps who are tied for first will come down to the tiebreaker score whether either team wins.
Meanwhile, I'm 58th out of 69 completed brackets and 25th percentile in the 6+ million entered...

UConn! I wish I had stuck with my team in my bracket. I had them out before final four. But no matter. Sorry for the boring final, though. Not the most exciting teams to watch go head to head, I guess.
