Staying Off-site and WDW parking?

I am thinking of staying off-site for the first-time and was curious about parking fees.

When you stay off-site and use park-hoppers do you pay a parking fee at each park you visit on that day or do you pay a single fee?

Example -- I go to HS at opening, leave to visit AK and then go to MK for fireworks, would I pay for parking 3 times?

You only pay the parking once - take your slip to the next location and you won't have to pay a second time until the next day.

And it is currently $14 per day to park!

Much as I hate it, unfortunately I can save a lot more than $14/day staying off-site.

We did this for our trip in 2006. We saved a lot of money, got a nice villa and rented a car. And since we were spending a few days in Universal, it made sense. Parking wasn't bad at all. Saved lots of $$$ but found our trip was still magical. You get to drive under the Walt Disney World sign everyday! :mickey:
