Quote ???

How do I add a quote, especially if I only want to quote part of there question, from a previous Poster. I've tried several ways, from highlighting the part I wanted and hit quote to cutting and paste, but it comes up in the same color and font as my post?

You hit the quote button at the bottom of the post you want to quote. If you only want part, you delete out the part you don't want.

By hitting the little "quote" icon in the lower right corner of the post you're interested in, that entire post will be moved into your reply; no need to cut and paste. Go into that wording that has been put in your reply and delete the parts you don't want. Be sure not to delete the words "quote" and "/quote" that are enclosed in brackets [ ] when deleting the parts of the quote you don't want, then put your own post in the blank space after the [/quote].

Cutting and pasting will only work if you add quote in brackets at the beginning of your pasted text, and /quote in brackets at the end of the text.
