How come Bambi is really no where to be seen at WDW? Did he not pay the union dues or something?

He's featured as a topiary in Bambi's Butterfly House for the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot right now. :bambi:

they should just have them do what the Pluto CM's do... walk on their hind legs lol

Really? We got pictures with several characters from the Jungle Book in July '10 over in AK. There wasn't a line at all, so maybe they aren't all that popular and that's why they aren't around much...

I think that has more to do with the location and less to do with their popularity. They are hidden back along that trail. They certainly are not the Fab Five...But Baloo has been out just about everyday since the opening of the park. King Louie has also been an everyday fixture for years. Mowgli also had a breif run in the parks.
As far as the movie Bambi, Thumper and Flower were two of the original Disney World characters. Thumper is currently out in the parks as is Miss Bunny....BTW not bad for a movie that almost sunk the company.
