water shoes on water rides in water parks?

Can you wear Tevas or other water shoes on rides like Crush N Gusher? My son won't ride without them! Thanks.

It depends on the ride. I know for any slide that you are the catapult, you have to take them off. I honestly can't remember if you can or can't on the crush n gusher. I think he can probably wear them, but you may want to call to find out. Maybe another poster has a definitive answer. I've worn them and on slides you just cradle them to your chest and cross your arms just before you go down. Then you can slip them back on at the end. I love them.

I know when we went on Crush & Gusher we were allowed to keep our water shoes on but at Blizzard beach on summit plummit we had to hold our shoes.
