Just a curious question for any Leap Day babies we may have here, or for anyone who knows a Leap Day baby. I'm just curious, what day do you celebrate your birthday on non-Leap Day years - February 28 or March 1? What other issues do you run into?

We have a friend who is a Leap Day baby. Last year both he and his son turned 12. :D He celebrates on Feb. 28th on non Leap years, and had a good excuse for a party every 4 years. I don't know of any problems.

A teacher I had in Middle School is a leap baby, she celebrates on the 1st. A good friend of mine also got married on a leap day. He SAYS he only celebrates once every four years, but knowing him they do celebrate every year.

A friend of mine's daughter is a leap day baby! They celebrate her birthday on Feb. 28th. My oldest was due on Feb. 26th on a leap year, and all throughout my pregnancy I just knew I was going to have him on leap day. Boy was I wrong, he came early, on Feb. 11th!

My mom is a leap day baby. We generally celebrate on the day that's best for the family, for example we celebrated yesterday this year. She says, though, that her birthday should be celebrated all of February AND March. ;)

One of my teachers was a leap baby. We threw her a sweet 16 my senior year of HS.

My DH's grandma was a leap day baby, which I didn't know until she passed away. She celebrated on 3/1, regardless of the year.
