Tipping Kids Club Cast

The last time I sailed DCL in 2008 we tipped the cast members in the kids club with international long distance phone cards we bought ahead of time. With communication methods evolving and possibly new technology on the Dream, are calling cards still as useful as they once were?

I was able to get my hands on DCL's Dream "Welcome to the Dream" employment manual for their cast members. It was VERY interesting reading from the inside looking out.

One of the things that is talked about in that manual is that the cast members on board have something they use now called cruzphones (I think I spelled that correctly, I am doing it from memory). But it also talked about using calling cards when at differetn ports, so I think they are probably still very welcomed.
