Feb. 12, 1988 – Illusionist Siegfried and Roy appeared to make Sleeping Beauty Castle disappear during a national broadcast TV special “Disney’s Magic in the Magic Kingdom.”
Feb. 12, 1988 – The Disney/Touchstone film “Shoot to Kill” was released.
Feb. 12, 1989 – The Disney TV special “Mickey’s Happy Valentine Special” aired.
Feb. 12, 1993 – The Disney film “Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey, had its general release.
Feb. 12, 1999 – The 5-day “Mardi Gras” celebration began at Downtown Disney Pleasure Island in WDW.
Feb. 12, 1999 - Disney’s “My Favorite Martian”, starring Christopher Lloyd, Jeff Daniels, Elizabeth Hurley, Darryl Hannah, and Ray Walston was released.
Feb. 12, 1999 – Disney’s MouseWorks television series released “Pluto Gets the Paper: Spaceship.”
Feb. 12, 2000 - The “Royal Ball” was held at Disneyland Hotel in California to celebrate Cinderella’s 50th anniversary.
Feb. 12, 2000 – Disney’s 1998 animated feature “Mulan” premiered on the Disney Channel.
Feb. 12, 2001 – Ilene Woods, the original voice of Cinderella, appeared at a Cinderella Ball in Disneyland to celebrate the anniversary of the motion picture.
