I just bought an Alaska ports of call book (2011) from Fodor's. They report the Wonder will be changed for it's Alaska cruises. They said a new venue called the Outlook Cafe will be added to deck 10. It will be 2,500 square feet and have floor-to-ceiling, curved glass windows.

Anyone know more about this?

They completed it at the October 2009 Drydock. There are alot of pics out there. It looks great!

So it's done? I called Disney Cruise Line (main number) and asked if the Wonder had been changed for its Alaska cruises. She told me no. Strange that they don't know!

Where can I find the pics? Is it on the same level as Beach Blanket or above it? Is it just a seating area or an area where you are waited on?

I'm excited as we are sailing on the first Alaskan cruise on May 3!

Sorry, I didn't read your year correctly.... 2009? We were on the Wonder in Oct 2010. I don't remember seeing anything like that. Can you explain where it is? I might have seen it but don't remember now. Sorry!

Just google Disney Wonder Outlook Cafe. You'll find lots of photos.

I just saw on another forum that the changes were made this past October - of 2010. I mis-typed above. We were last on the Wonder in October 2009.

Also on this same post I learned that they are opening a new tween club - the edge for 11-13 year olds. GREAT news. It will be on deck 2 forward where the conference rooms used to be.

Strange when I called Disney Cruise Line last week, the rep I talked to didn't know any of this - if what I am reading is true!

You must have missed it somehow. We were on the last cruise in 2009 before the Wonder went into Drydock which took place between September 27th, 2009 and October 15th, 2009. It was at that drydock that they installed the Outlook Cafe.

Yeah, I guess I did! Being on the boat for only 3 days, I didn't get everywhere. (too much Bingo!)

Welllll..... it's basically a bar. We did see kids in there, but they were more-or-less "touring" the ship.
