Ol’ Man Island Fishin' Hole ?

Can you use your own rod and reel here.I cant find anywhere that it says you cant.Can someone enlighten me with the rules.

Port Orleans Riverside features an old-fashioned Fishin’ Hole that’s fun for the whole family, located on Ol’ Man Island just behind the Muddy Waters pool bar. The fishing hole is open from 7:00am until 1:30pm and is stocked with catfish, blue gill and bass. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All fishing at Walt Disney World Resort property is “catch and release” only, but you’re welcome to take pictures to prevent those “big fish that got away” stories later.


Cane Pole Fishing
A family for 30 mins is $13.32 w/ tax, and an Individual for 30 mins is $4.26 w/tax.
Price includes cane poles, bait (hot dogs and worms) and dock time

This does not answer your question, but just a note about Ol' Man Island. Our three kids have peanut allergies and the cups supplied with the bait in them have peanut shells as the fill for the bait. Just a word of caution. Have fun!:mickey:
