Ever put 5 in a studio?

Will they let you put 5 in a studio? Our first trip (years ago) we stayed at OKW. There were 2 beds, which would work for 4 if the DDs would share a bed. Not sure where you would put the 5th. It's a very nice resort, but my suggestion would be call DVC and ask about occupancy in a studio.

Disney only allows for 4 in a studio. My SIL has a room booked too, a 2BR at SSR for her family of 5 and my DS is planning to go in with them, but if we needed to throw him in with us on an airbed a night or 2, would it work? We've done that in hotels many times over the years.

We are doing 5 (me, DW, DS9, DD6, DD3) in a one bedroom at BWV that supposed to be for 4. We were told that was fine as long as we didn't expect a cot or extra bedding.

The beds in a studio are queens - either 2 beds or one bed and a pull out couch that is a queen. I don't know about you, but I need more room than a studio provides. I stayed in a studio with my husband once and it was a good size for 2 people, but I wouldn't want to even put an extra kid in it, to be honest. But I like a lot of room when I am at a hotel. I would book a 1 BR if I were you.

I don't know that I would bet on being able to put 5 in a studio every time. There may or may not be an official policy on that and it could depend on who you run into when you're checking in. I'd look into it to be certain.

Member Services is currently allowing 5 people plus 1 child under 3 in a one-bedroom villa at SSR, OKW, BWV, BCV, and VWL. The 1-bedrooms at BLT and AKV officially sleep 5.

MS will NOT allow 5 persons in a studio at any DVC resort.

I'm closing this topic. The answers are correct - MS can allow 5 in a one bed but never in a studio.
