Hi, my family is considering Mickey's Barbecue on our summer trip to WDW. Does anyone have any reviews of this dinner show? Thanks!

We went on our last trip and LOVED it! The food is good, picnic-style, buffet. The show was great. They had a wonderful band and a guy who did rope tricks. We were a little disappointed at first that we didn't get a seat by the big dance floor (there's one huge dance floor in the middle, two smaller ones on the sides), but that ended up working out better for us. Sitting next to one of the smaller stages, the girls were able to get up and dance, and we could still see them easily, they were right next to us. The characters come to all the dance floors, so you're not going to miss out on any of them no matter where you're sitting. When we were done eating we all went out to dance on the big dance floor and stayed until the end. The girls enjoyed dancing with the characters so much more than just a quick visit at the table. We had so much fun we're going to do it again this fall. :mickey:

excellent we have done this 2 times and each meal was different and great. The characters spend a lot of time out and about and even dance with the guests. The food is basic BBQ food but good. The atmosphere is great. Our first time going they had a country band and a cowboy do a rope show. he then picked two kids to come up and learn how to make a lasso. My DD got picked and the smile on her face was worth every cent we spent on the dinner. :cloud9:
If you go, get there early to wander around a bit to see things like the lawn mower tree, and the petting farm.
