Park hours/world of color

Hi. I will be in Disneland on the 17th and 18th. planning on seeing WOC on the 18th. I just noticed the park closes at 8pm, and the show is at 8:15. is that typical?

They have been doing that with the WoC showings. Typically it's been the after 10pm show that runs at or after park closing. The rest of the park does close on time and guests are directed right out after showtime.
