for room only? I've heard that the rates for "next year" are usually announced in the fall - does that mean for a spring trip I can't book it a year in advance?

Package rates are generally announced sometime in late summer. At that time, you'll be able to book your spring trip. Unless you'rbooking later in the year, you won't be able to book a package a full year ahead of time.

We usually go to WDW in February. You can book rooms before the new rates are released, your room cost will be adjusted at that time. You can then add park tickets and other stuff at that time the new rates are released.

We are planning a trip Feb 2012 ani I will call and reserve our rooms next month.
