Dec. 13, 1917 – Country singer/movie star Wesley Tuttle, who would yodel as one of the dwarfs in Disney’s 1937 “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” was born in Lamar, Co.
Dec. 13, 1925 – Actor Dick Van Dyke, who narrated the 2001 TV special “Walt: The Man Behind the Myth,” and portrayed Bert in Disney’s 1964 feature “Mary Poppins,” and hosted the TV specials “Florida’s Disney Decade,” and “Donald Duck’s 50th Birthday” in 1984, was born in West Plains, Missouri.
Dec. 13, 1926 – Disney’s Alice Comedy “Alice’s Brown Derby” was released.
Dec. 13, 1929 – Emmy Award-winning actor Christopher Plummer, the voice of Charles Muntz in the Disney/Pixar animated feature “Up,” was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Dec. 13, 1940 – Disney’s Donald Duck cartoon “Fire Chief” was released.
Dec. 13, 1941 – Actor-singer & TV host John Davidson was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. His live-action Disney credits include “The Happiest Millionaire” (1967) and “The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band” (1968).

Dec. 13, 1957 – Actor Steve Buscemi, the voice of Randall Boggs in Disney’s 2001 Pixar collaboration “Monsters, Inc.” was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Dec. 13, 1959 – Child-actor Johnny Whitaker, who starred in Disney’s 1972 “Napoleon and Samantha,” and “Snowball Express,” was born in Van Nuys, Ca.
