Scheduled for Fantasmic tomorrow-weather says very windy. Would this be a reason to cancel show?:ack:

If it gets too windy, it might be.

Many of the effects rely on images being projected onto a "curtain" of water. Too much wind distorts the effect, and also poses the risk of water being blown onto the guests and the performers.

Similarly, they have to cancel fireworks effects if the wind makes it dangerous, blowing smoke and/or sparks into occupied areas.

We saw it a week and a half ago. There was a slight drizzle coming down and it was fairly windy. It was not cancelled. The "waterscreens" were a bit blurry and we were misted, but as they say...the show must go on.

I have only experienced cancellation due to local lightning storms. Wind does seem possible though.

We saw Fantasmic last Monday night, and wind was gusting 20-30mph, ... and the show went off without a glitch.
