Ok..so we're home just a spell, and its time for WDW again! This is bitter sweet, as its our last of our three back to back trips.
We stayed Poly again. Lagoon View club level, ground floor, a dream room for us, within the block I requested. Yeah!, Since this is my and Kai's BD trip. I turned 45 the week before, and Kai was turning 11 on our trip! My sis had sent balloons and a gift card for Kai which was waiting in our room along with cards signed by the characters for both of us. We love this room. What a way to go out with a bang. Its perfect. The views, the location., we are home.
We head for our traditional first night Ohanas, that never changes on our WDW trips, along with our palm tree picture on our way to dinner.

This trip was filled with "fun meals" ....Mine and Kai's picks, only one new (Via Napoli) the rest were tried and trues for our BDs, our faves. We loved Via Napoli.

We got a 3 meter pizza (or was it one meter?? I don't remember, but it was the big one!) Along with fried veggies for apps. We choose three different toppings for our pizza. The pizza was super super thin. We will return here. The atmosphere was lively, we had a strange birthday treat this night though, something lime and yucky.
We did Crystal Palace this trip, Ohanas, Via Napoli, Tony's Townsquare, Yak and Yeti, Prime Time and Sci fi. Kai picked them all. We did Sci Fi on Kai's actual BD. This place never gets old to us. So unique, and we never had a prob with the food. We got the best server we ever had at Prime time this trip. http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a0cc30b3127ccefb8265ff338c00000030O00AbuGzdu3YuW IPbz4c/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/ Katie was put in the corner, Khloe was fed her chicken, there was a whole lot of fanfare at our table! And the best part was, Uncle Tim left me alone while my kids were tortured!!! Haha!
We took alot of time to play this trip, while hitting all of our favorite attractions. At this point, I don't want to say we were Disneyed out...but we were definitely satiated. We have spent close to 25 days on Disney property thus far and we were good. Its a nice feeling. No pressure at all.
Every trip the kids go to the China Pavillion with the sticks. They play dumb, as if they have never done them before, then they whip into some wild stick routines. They do them at home constantly, and are really good with them. People stand and watch. Its really funny . I keep telling them they should put a cup out, help us pay for these trips..haha!

We did all four parks this trip again, avoiding DTD since we spent so much time at the DL DTD earlier. I can't say I'm a fan of WDW DTD anyways. 2 highlights of the parks were Katie auditioning for American Idol. She hadn't a chance, believe me, she did it for fun, but boy did we laugh, and love to get a sneak peek behind the scenes. I went along with her for her journey. http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a0cc30b3127ccefb836761926f00000030O00AbuGzdu3YuW IPbz4c/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/
Another highlight was AK park. Saw Devine for the first time and boy did she unsettle my little guy, Kai. He did not enjoy her! But I did get to see Duncan, the blind sheep at the park that I've become quite attached to over the years. I swear he remembers me. The CM's and I spent lots of time chatting about Duncan, and they gave me a special Duncan pin. Love it.

We went out with a bang this trip. First, the hoop de doo. Front and center and then TA-DAH!!!! I am picked to be the can can girl. Dread, dread...but it turned out to be alot of fun..Here I am in the middle.

And our last night was the MNSSHP.

Kai did the Pirates League and we all dressed up. We stayed until the end of the party almost, hitting all the trick or treat stations.
So, our triple play trips have come to an end. They were a gift, a blessing, a once in a lifetime opportunity for my family.
And know what? I can't wait to go back!!! I'm in no hurry though...Perhaps the spring for Easter again...thats what we're thinking right now...Thanks for reading everyone!!! I'm glad to be back on the boards!

Look at you as the girl, woo-hoo! Kai makes a really great pirate. Fantastic birthday fun. Love the China sticks, and the cup idea (definitely!) and that Duncan remembers you (of course he does). And all the family memories. Very sweet, Lisa. Thank you for sharing with us. And again, I have to say that you look amazing, look at those guns! Someone has been working out. 45 and fabulous, what an inspiration! :)

Awww...thanks Sherri. I have been religiously running and lifting weights over this past year. Ever since Steve was sick last year, I turned my own health around. Not that it was ever bad, but I am being proactive in staying healthy. My guns, huh? That makes me laugh, thats what my daughter calls my arms. They are really muscular, and when I see pics, sometimes I think I oughta lay off the weights!

No way, they look great. I want some. It reminds me to really get busy with my own program and stick to it. You're not too muscular, just beautifully toned. It really is an inspiration. And great for your health! Regular workouts help fend off diabetes, osteoporosis, and all kinds of bad things.
