Labor Day week 2011??

Next fall our youngest son will move to the dorm, leaving us as empty nesters during the school year. We have a BCV timeshare but also have Marriott points from my business travels. My question is... do we come back to Disney or consider another vacation spot? We're looking for a somewhat relaxing vacation so we want to avoid big cities. We've done D.C. and a lot of the east coast. I've heard that week is one of the best weeks for low crowd levels to visit WDW so it would be a good chance to take advantage of short waits, or this that a misconception with free dining now offered?
Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks.

We like going to Disney right around Labor day. The crowds truly are down as most schools have just resumed sessions. It is quite steamily hot at that time of year though!

If you can stand the heat, it is the best time to go. Very low crowds. The free dining does make it hard to get into restaurants w/out ressies though. I love going at that time of year.
