We leave in less than 2 weeks for our trip and I'm disappointed by the temps.

I realize it can change but it's hard to be in a Christmas mood when it will be in the low 80s!

We are going Dec 2nd and wish the temps would stay in the 80's. It looks like we may get another cold front at that time.

I'd be ecstatic to be at Disney in December with tems in the 80's!

I would love if it was warmer, not hot. Just enough to go swimming. I am used to warmer Decembers... I live in So. California and used to live in Hawaii (where Santa arrives on an outrigger);) We still manage to get the Christmas mood with warmer weather.

I'm with you. We'll be there on the 5th, fingers crossed that we have nice temps. DH and I were their a few years back in Dec and the temps were mid to upper 80's the whole trip. It was wonderful.

Same here - it's 34 degrees right now in Chicago...and NOT sunny!

I'm there from 11/28-12/4 and I'm praying for the 80 degree temps to hold!!! That sounds like heaven! :cloud9:

I woke up this morning to 24 degrees, so heading back to summer for a bit sounds perfect to me!

If it's still in the 80s the first week of January, I'll be jumping for joy! I think that's perfect WDW weather.

We fly in on the 5th as well and will be delighted if it stayed in the 80's - it would make packing easier. Summer was so beautiful this year (at least weatherwise in my book) that just a few more days of it will make the winter more tolerable. Can't wait to get there!! :cloud9:

I'm with Ang on this one.

My girlfriend and I will be arriving on the 6th, and I would be really happy with a temperature that maxed out in the upper 70's. I also like the "cooler" (50's-60's) evenings to walk around and enjoy the lights and music. It's tough to get excited about your hot chocolate at MVMCP when you're sweating.

See you in a few weeks Mickey! :mickey:

To me, nothing spells Xmas more than walking down the Streets of America in a tank top and swim trunks looking at all the lights on display!

I still can't get used to XMas lights on palm trees and cacti.

I was just going to say the same thing. It's definitely hard getting into the spirit.

I know what you mean about warm weather Christmas, but that warm winter weather is exactly the reason Walt chose Florida instead of the Midwest for the location of WDW. That's why WDW is open year round.

Imagine riding Splash Mountain when it's 20 degrees outside.

1) Agreed.
2) But, if low temps are desired, vacation in Vermont.

I know what you mean. Santa in swim trunks just doesn't cut it!

But here in NJ, leaves have dropped from the trees and temps are in the 30s. I'd give anything to get the tank tops and shorts down from the attic and head off to 80s temps at WDW. Enjoy your trip!
