We are staying at BLT in Jan & have dinner ressies one evening at Ohanas. Will be taking the monorail of course but was wondering how long it would take us to get there. Want to make sure were not late. Since never being on the monorail before...does it go in only 1 direction or 2? What would we be passing or viewing from BLT to the Poly? Any info helpful! Thanks

Leave BLT 30 min prior to your ADR time at 'Ohana.

However, adjust this if it's raining! Add extra time, as people tend to leave the MK if it's raining, and the monorails will be more crowded than normal (ditto if the park happens to be closing early that day and it coincides with your dinnertime).

The monorail goes from MK-Contemporary-TTC-Poly-GF-MK. That's the order of the loop. It travels clockwise from MK.

As a tip, when going TO the Magic Kingdom, walk. The monorail trip around the "loop" takes about 20 min. Walking from BLT takes about 5.

The monorail will stop at the Transportation & Ticket Center, and next at Polynesian. Each monorail travels in only one direction.

You could wait up to 10 minutes for a monorail at Contemporary. Once on board, the total ride will be no more than 5 minutes.

When you exit at Poly, you walk into the building that houses 'Ohana, and you are on the correct floor, so figure 1 minute from monorail exit to 'Ohana podium.

So, including your initial wait time at the Contemporary platform, a maximum of 16 minutes to the 'Ohana podium.
