New vacation planning videos??

Anyone know if the vacation planning videos for 2011 are any different than the videos from this year? I just ordered one and was just curious? Thanks in advance. :mickey:

The 2011 video won't be out until January. I would assume it would probably be a little different with the new theme, but there's no way to know until we see one.

One thing I've noticed year to year (I order one every year) is that the segments that talk about the resort hotels has had the same script since 2005. That was the year when the video had 4 different people scoping the parks. The relaxation guy (can't remember his name right now) does the voice-over in that one. Every video since then uses the same script, but have different voices to recite it.

The last three years has been "a walk in the clouds" video. The park videos are a little different, but mostly the same. Looking forward to a completely new format.

The past couple or so years I got a new one sometime at the end of the year. There was even a post somewhere where people were getting the new dvd's in the beginning of Dec.

It IS totally different. No more clouds, a different host and a different "specialist" (talks in depth about certain things).

It is set up totally differently too. Some of the ride/attraction and other footage is the same but it is still soooo much better than last year that I can't complain much.

It also seems more useful in the way the info is organized and more laid back visually - not so much zipping by so quickly.

Overall, I like it. Could it be better, of course, but it's not bad at all:thumbsup:

I totally agree. Set up so that someone who doesn't already know Disney
World and needing help planning a trip can actually understand a bit!!

Thanks for the feedback. I just got mine in the mail, but am going to give it to the kids when we surprise them with the Sep 2011 trip. i am trying to figure out a way to open it, watch it, and then put it back like it just arrived from Disney World.
