FROZEN!

They were both good. Better than Pumpkin juice. We found the pumpkin juice was too sweet.

The Butterbeer was great...try them both if you can but Frozen was awesome.

FROZEN, hands down. However, I can only drink two to three sips and then I give it to my kids. It is so sweet, but tasty. :)

Even though DH swears they both taste the same, the frozen is sweeter, more butterscotch taste. The regular has a more bitter/tart taste to me.

Frozen all the way!!

Plus, I forgot to add, it is odd seeing kids walking around drinking from beer mugs! (for those that don't know, butterbeer is non-alcoholic)

Can I ask, is there carbonation in Butterbeer, or even Pumpkin juice? My son loves butterscotch and is excited to try these, but can not stand carbonation!

I had both. While I liked the regular I didn't think it was worth the price. The frozen IMO was much better and made the price easier to swallow.

We all liked the regular better, but boy are these drinks sweet. 4 of us shared one regular and one frozen, we didn't quiet drink all of hte regular and we didn't even drink half of the frozen. At least we had the mugs to keep.

No carbination at all. The frozen is like a slushy consistency. The cold is just like a cold beer, foam included, just not bubbles! Enjoy!!

Having had the non frozen variety about 5 times, I'd swear there is at least a minimal amount of carbonation.

I LOVED the Butterbeer. I didn't try the frozen because I liked the regular so much

I do not drink soda because I'm not big on carbonated drinks, but this went down just fine!

To clarify there is carbonation in the regular butter beer, but not in the frozen butter beer. Unless they changed it since September.

Just got back, had one of each to split with the family. The regular was ok (seemed to have carbonation as my son noticed right away- although not as much as soda), but the frozen was really good! We all agreed that was the best, in our opinions. And yes, really sweet. We now have a nice mug to keep! Also had a bottle of pumpkin juice, that was different! A combination of apple cider, and pumpkin. :mickey:

Frozen!! The regular cold one is like cream soda with a cup of sugar dumped in to me. My daughter did not want the cream stuff on the top of hers and they wouldn't serve it that way, due to copyright, which was interesting. I agree with Lisa on the Pumpkin Juice, I liked that, too.

Hmmm, I only tried the cold (regular) when we were there this week. I'll have to try frozen next time.

I prefer the frozen while my hubby prefers the draught. :cloud9:   Yes, the frozen is definitely sweeter, the draught is more of a cream soda with a topping. Funny thing, another couple we go to wdw & wwohp with its the same with them: wife prefers the frozen, hubs prefers the draught.

I do like both, and very often hubby is finishing mine when his is gone and I'm not looking. He wishes they'd sell butterbeers throughout the parks. I'm glad they don't because I'd be 50lbs heavier if I had easy access to them.

P.S. they will only give straws for the frozen because if you use a straw in the draught it will explode...my theory is because the carbonation is trapped by the topping and you break the seal with the straw so all that carbonation pushes everything out.

My husband prefers the non-frozen too! Funny! I bet there is some kind of scientific study we can conduct. What do you say.... we'll have to spend at least a week down in Hogwarts conducting extensive research....:beer:

Cool! Never knew that about the straws! We didn't get any for either!

3 votes for Frozen!!! It was great!

Our family was split down the middle - two votes for regular and two for frozen. One caveat: in hot weather, the frozen becomes unfrozen pretty quickly. I feel the regular is far superior to thawed once-frozen butterbeer.

Another vote for non-frozen. The frozen kind gave me a horrendous brain freeze with my first (admittedly large) slurp. :funny:
