How is the last week in February as far as crowds are concerned? We are thinking about stopping in for a few days for a quick visit.

I know the weather is largely unpredictable in WDW but what are the experiences everyone has had over the years. I checked out info central but I always find it hard to gauge the weather looking at numbers. What do you usually wear in late February? Shorts? Jeans? Sweatsuits? Jackets? Mittens?

Check and see if that week is President's week. If it is, expect big crowds, lots of schools have that week off.

Next year, the last full week of February is when Presidents' day falls. I would avoid that week if at all possible. It is very crowded!

I would expect the first few days of your trip to be very crowded. Crowds should go down somewhat around Sunday/Monday.

That time of year, you'll probably be in jeans and then will layer on top. But bring a pair or two of shorts in case it gets warm. Temperatures average in the low 70s for highs and in the 50s for overnight lows, but it is definitely possible to have highs in the 50s and lows in the 40s.

Just a note - if you do go the week of Feb 25-Mar 1, make sure that you catch the space shuttle launch on Feb 27th at 3:35 p.m.

We will be there at that time. Where is the best place to catch a glimpse of the shuttle, I know it is in the sky when you see it. Just wondering where you get the best view....will at WDW.

we sat on the beach at the Contemporary in 2009 to watch a liftoff really neat
