Gift Card for F&W

I know that little gift cards can be purchased to use at the F&W fest with the wrist thingy. Are those the only gift cards or can a standard Disney gift card like one can purchase at a Disney store also be used?

Yes, any gift card can be used, as well as the other forms of payment accepted around the resort.
