Renting points?

How do you rent points on a one time basis.

It's a one time fee of $15.00 per point up to I believe 24 points. When calling member services just let them know you need to purchase a few extra one time points. You do have to pay for the points as soon as you make your reservation.

That is correct if you rent from DVC direct. There are also numerous websites out there where individuals rent their points out. Ball park rentals about $10 a point but you have to trust who you are renting from as Disney don't get involved at all.
