Does anyone know why CBR standard is about $150 less for a standard than a POR/POFQ standard? This is all resorts using the discount rate.

There's usually a range, but it's not that large, comparing one moderate to another with the same discounts on the same dates. What are the dates?

It is for Oct 28 - 31. It is a passholder rate. The difference is that large. It is strange.

It looks like the AP rate is not available at PORS on the last 2 nights.
With the new "intelligent" system they have the capability to default some nights to rack rate.

Actually I've noticed that too. We wanted to stay at a moderate next time to take advantage of a good free dining plan. We were thinking of going in May, and then we changed our minds to February. Both months that we checked, (with no discounts or anything - just strictly rack rates) CBR was significantly cheaper than POFQ/POR. I know there's usually a 'range' but it was outrageously cheaper and that's why we chose CBR for our next trip!

It could be linked to availability. Maybe there are more rooms available at the moment for Caribbean Beach Resort.

I've noticed online that when they have booked all the PH rate rooms allotted, the price reverts to rack rate or the system shows no availability.

I'll bet it's supply and demand. They probably have more rooms available to fill at CBR.
