WL transportation

We're staying at VWL our first night. The next morning we have an ADR for 7:55 @ Kona. How early do the boats start to the Contemporary? That's the only feasible way I see to get to the Poly. Any other ideas or input? Thanks!

The boats start to run very early. I think I remember a boat running at 6:30AM. You will not have a problem going from WL to CR to Poly by 7:55AM.

The boat ferry from WL starts running at 6:30am. From there you'll go to the Contemporary to get on the monorail, which will take you to the Poly. No worries! Enjoy!!! :thumbsup:

Allow plenty of time, though, and make sure you don't get on the boat going to Ft. Wilderness first. I would allow at least 30-45 minutes. Sometimes boats are slow, Monorails are slow... and you'd hate to be late. We've stayed at the WL many times and find the buses to be much faster, but you won't find one that goes from WL straight to the Poly, unfortunately.

You could also take a cab. The few times we've taken a cab it was never more than $20 including tips. The longest ride we took was going from AKL to WL. I'd think going from WL to the Poly would be a very short trip and maybe cost around $10.
