Spectromagic vs. Main Street Electrical Parade

It's been YEARS since I've seen MSEP - and I'm on 28, so I was young then. I really don't remember the differences between these two parades. What can I expect w/the MSEP? I'm so excited to see it again. Let me know, thanks!!

I know Pete's Dragon. I have the DVD right in my collection. However, DD never wants to watch it. Poor Pete and Elliot. I am not sure what she will say when I get the Apple Dumpling Gang.

There are different characters in this one and it has a very patriotic end... It was a long parade I thought but then again, I was ready to leave right after it started...:blush:

It seems much longer....Spectro is much better IMHO, I'm much older and remember the electric parade....:cool:

As a goes to WDW to often person I'm glad to have a change of parade back to MSEP but I'd love to see an all new nighttime light up parade.

MSEP is hands down better than Spectro.

I hope it stays a MK for long time, I'm sure it wont though.

I've always preferred MSEP to Spectro, but I think it has to do with which one you were introduced to first. I love the music and nostalgic feel of MSEP. Baroque Hoedown rules!:thumbsup:

See, I personally think ELP is WAY better then Spectro. More classic characters, more fun, more color and apparently updated with advanced light technology.

According to a friend at Disney, Spectro is longer, has more lights / colors of lights, more floats, and more characters. My family prefers Spectro - that MSEP music is like a dentist's drill to my ear!

Have always like Main Street Electrical Parade over Spectro, and I've seen both many times.
