Walking to Wide World of Sports

Does anyone know if you can walk to ESPN Wide World of Sports from the All-Star resorts? We have a tournament there in October and don't want to rent a car or take the bus, if we don't have to. Thanks!

My wife and I love walking everywhere and try to when we can. This is about a 3.5 mile walk, so a nice distance but may take a little while, especially if you are carrying equipment.

The problem that may arise, is that there are no sidewalks on the walk over there. You take Osceola Parkway over, a fairly major road and I am not sure if pedestrians are allowed to walk on the side of the road.
