Feb 27-Mar 5 a busy week in 2011?

looking to book this week next year, but there is no availability online for CS or CBR. I guess its booked on the 27th from people being down there for presidents day week, would that be correct? It just seems strange that that week would be THAT busy. when I looked at arriving mid-week (mar 1-3) there is no problem but that doesn't work as well for us. We were looking at arriving on the weekend (26 or 27) and staying until the next weekend (5 or 6) to reduce the number of school days missed. We wanted to stay at CBR in a regular room or CS but like I said there doesnt seem to be any availability for arriving on those days, any suggestions?

Its the week of Mardi Gras and I bet all of us New Orleanians are heading that way. I hear it can get pretty crowded during Mardi Gras week.

We're going March 3rd-10th and were also having a hard time getting a standard room at the CBR.Is it really Mardis Gras thats packing the place in?I thought that we were going at a dead time.
