Value Resort Dining package, or campsite

Torn between taking our camper to the disney campground or going to disney with the free dining package and staying at value resort. It would be cheaper to get the package, but the camper would be a more unique experience. Has anyone done both? Suggestions?

You may want to consider the weather at the time of year you are going, and how you can handle that while camping. I am not a camping type of person, but I love Pop Century. :D
