Late Check Out

Does anyone know if the resorts ever allow a late check out. We are staying at Poly in Dec. and our flight doesn't leave until 10:00 p.m. Just wondering if late check out is possible and if not what everyone else that has a late flight does?:mickey:

Late check-out can't be requested until check-out day. You have to ask the Housekeeping department. If you talk to the front desk, all they'll do is call Housekeeping and ask for you.

IF you are granted late check-out, here's the fee schedule:

Up until 1 p.m. - no charge

1:01 - 3:00 p.m. -- 50% of nightly rack rate

past 3:00 p.m. -- 100% of nightly rack rate

Here's what you do with a 10 p.m. flight ...
If you're taking Disney's Magical Express back to the airport, your bus ride will be scheduled for about 7 p.m., and you need to show up 15 minutes before that, plus you'll want to leave time to get your bags out of storage (because you had Bell Services hold your bags for you), so you're back to the resort by 6:30 p.m.

I would treat it like a normal day at the parks. Go out and have fun. Make sure you're back at Poly by 6:30 p.m.
