40% Resort Discount

I know that during value seasons WDW will do a 30-40% discount on room only stays in the resorts.

Does anyone know if they ever have done this during the value seasons in January-February. We are looking at going in late January and would love to save some money! Wasn't sure if they'd ever done it during this time in the past.

We went this past February and they had the buy 4 get 3 special so we got to stay at my sister's dream resort(Polynesian).:cloud9:

I'm in the exact same boat as JabberJaws. I'm looking at the last week of January. I'm hoping for a good discount. Package prices (not discounts) for 2011 should be out soon. Last year (as Cajun mentioned) they did a buy 4 get 3 promo. Nanc @ MJ posted it on 9-28-09 bookable beginning 9-30-09. A repeat would be nice, but I'm flexible. I did free dining last Oct and I thought I got a good value. No one knows for sure about the exact dates or what promotions will be offered.
