We have a reservation for a standard room with a Garden View. Will the room have a balcony?

Depends on the building you get. The older buildings, west of Tokelau, do not have balconies on the 2nd floor though they have balconies on the third floor and 1st floor patios. Tokelau and the buildings east of it have balconies or patio on all floors.

If a balcony is a must then I suggest making a request on your reservation for a balcony.

I'd request Tokelau. You are in the middle of the Ceremonial house and the TTC for the Epcot monorail. Plus right next to the quiet pool.:marg::tikki::balloon:
