Kona Island Sushi Bar?

A July 15 Disney Park Blog entry says a Kona Island Sushi Bar is "now permanent".


According to the blog it is just outside the Kona Cafe at the Poly. Is this where the coffee stand is, err... was?

Has anyone tried it?

When I was there in April, it was in the same location. Coffee in the morning and sushi in the evening.

My DS12 had sushi from there in May. He thoroughly enjoyed it (He had the sampler for two). It wasn't ridiculously priced either. :thumbsup:

We will be trying this sushi bar on our October trip. And as badkitty said, in the morning it is the coffee bar. In the evenings, it is the sushi bar (but you can still get coffee too!)

Coffee and Sushi. What a combination. I hope they have green tea to go with the Sushi. Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like a good place to pick up an afternoon or late night snack.
