Yankees Legendary PA Announcer Bob Sheppard passed away

The voice of Yankee Stadium Bob Sheppard has passed away :( Anyone who has ever been to Yankee Stadium or watched a game on TV would certainly remember his distinctive voice that earned him the nickname "The Voice of God"

He was also the PA anoumcer for the Football Giants. Worked well into his 90's.

I was lucky enough to hear him give a starting line up once. Our thoughts are with his family.
