I was just about ready to book my flight and room for a September visit to DL. I have been wanting to go back since my last visit in the 70's
D23 is having a special event with lectures, visits that have to do with DL's 55th anniversary and since I was born the year DL opened I wanted to go and enjoy all my childhood memories (the original Mouseketers- how cool is that?!)
If we weren't going to WDW for a week in Dec. I might have been able to swing it but the air fare has gone up twice now since I have been trying to figure out if I can come up with the money.
My niece works at DL now so I could have gotten into the parks FREE.
So close but it isn't going to happen this year :(
