So as I have posted in other threads, we were not meant to take this trip this year. It was to be an off-site stay only with only 1 visit to 1 park....YEAH RIGHT!! I don't have that kind of self control!! So here it is..

Cast:
#1Disneyfan - Me-37
DH - 41
DD - 14
My mom and stepdad - but only joining us for our non-Disney portion.

We are arriving via Southwest into MCO on July 15th late evening. We are staying overnight at the Hyatt in the airport. Up early morning, and off to enjoy our AAA complimentary breakfast, then checkout. We are set with Quicksilver for our ride to Bonnet Creek. We are checking in early and are praying the room will be ready. If not, its off to change in the restroom and off to the pool for the day. My parents are set to arrive sometime later that evening. So we may venture to DTD for dinner.

Saturday July 17 - Off to that "other" park to see the new Harry Potter rides and for my adventurers to ride the big coasters!

Sunday July 18 - Hmmmm don't know (so unlike me!) Probably just a day hanging at the pool, maybe check out some in International Drive with the family.

Monday July 19 - CHECK IN AT WL - YOOHOO!! Plan is to check in and head to AK, spend a few hours, then back to the room and pool for some R&R. We have dining reservations at Capt n' Jacks, then back to AK for EMH.

Tuesday July 20 - Epcot day! Hit Soarin and TT for FP and maybe a standby ride. Then Mission Space and a few other favs, and a lunch in Paris at Chefs. Then back to the resort for R&R. Back to Epcot for EMH.

Wednesday July 21 - Split day, MK and Epcot. We also have ressies at O'Hanas. Can't believe we score those on a last minute trip! Prior to O'Hanas we will be back at the resort for R&R.

Thursday July 22 - Disney Studios. We have ressies for lunch at Sci Fi Dine In. Hoping to get on TSM and RnRC. The rest is just bonus! Back to the resort for R&R after lunch. (do you notice a pattern here!)

Friday July 23 - last park day :( to be spent at MK. We have dinner ressies at 1900 Park Fare. Tonight is EMH at MK til 2. We will most likely take full advantage of that! After a stop back at the resort for ....R&R!

Saturday July 24 - Hang at the resort for a while or DTD. Kinda up in the air right now. We have a flight home at 4ish. So we will see what time we get up and what we can accomplish that day!

So we are definitely planning on visiting the resort pool often. Our DD doesnt really do well in the extreme heat and sun, so we will have down time for her daily (and us!). This is our first time staying at WL so we are super excited about that! Can't wait to see our room and view!

Trip reports to follow upon our return!!!

Sounds great!! Have a wonderful trip.

I'm curious how an "off site only 1 visit to 1 park" changed into only 1 day at the other park and all Disney?? Not that there's anything wrong with that...

Also, you know, if you are bored on Sunday, you could always check out DTD....:mickey:

We just returned from a wonderful trip! Two things to let you know it is very hot down there right now and the Harry Potter wait time last week was 7 hours. Have a wonderful time!

7 HOURS!!! That is rediculous!! Nothing is worth that wait IMO!

Wow! Seven hour wait?! Even Splash Mountain and Test Track didn't have waits that long when they first opened! There's no way I'd stand in line in June or July for 7 hours (or even in January for that matter)!

Have a wonderful trip! Let us know how it goes!

Sounds like a wonderful trip. I like all the R&R. We always say we are going to spend more time by the pool and lying in the hamocks on the beach but that never seems to happen. We are going to POLY in Dec and am hoping this time we will carry through with the R&R time.

Enjoy and have a safe trip!:minnie:

We, too, always say we are going to head back for R&R during every trip and may end up doing it once. However, knowing that every summer we go, my DD ends up feeling ill by late afternoon. So we are hoping with planned R&R with definite pool time will bring her body back to a cooler temp and be able to head back to the parks after dinner. Here's hoping it all works out!

Love the change in plans to spend more time at Disney! Great lineup - I like your choice of ADRs and not-to-miss attractions, not to mention the R&R at WL. It looks like we'll just miss you - we arrive at WL the morning of the 24th!

Have a GREAT time!!! :mickey:
