ESPN Zone on the Boardwalk closing?

I read that the ESPN zone on the Boardwalk is closing. Does anyone know when? I also heard the McDonalds in Downtown Disney is closing. Again, does anyone know when?

McDonald's is already closed.

On the Boardwalk it is a ESPN Club, NOT an ESPN Zone. It will not be closing (for now.)

I could be wrong but my DH (a rabid ESPN/sports fan) says the article he read said the ESPN's on DISNEY properties would be remaining open. He also hopes this is the case....esp since we are Boardwalk fans and visit ESPN Club every visit.

As others have written, Disney's decision to close the ESPN Zone restaurants does not appear to have an effect on the ESPN Club on the BoardWalk. They are separate entities.
