Just got this email this morning:
Dear Amazon Customer,
All that wishing upon a star has finally paid off: Disney movies are now available to rent at Amazon Video On Demand, starting at $1.99. The only question is where to begin: We suggest "Alice In Wonderland," starring Johnny Depp, but you can also go classic with, say, "Dumbo" or dozens of other titles in our shiny, new Disney movies store.
I hope there are more titles added. I've been thinking the 'Disney Vault' idea is a little antiquated in the age of eBay. For example, I bought the Lion King and Beauty and The Beast from someone used since it was not available for sale by Disney. No revenue for Disney there. I'd rather have bought a digital copy for my TiVo from Amazon....
