When do park ticket prices change?

I have a trip to WDW planned for October 21 - 28th. I was wondering at what point in the year the park ticket prices change (go up). I would like to purchase tickets before they go up.

They will go up before then... I advise people to buyvthem as soon as you cam afford them. I think Aug/Sept has been the usual time the past few years, but you never know. There is little notice when they do. Just a few days rumors start swirling.

Yep, the past couple of years has been early August. We arrive the last week of July, so we're hoping they hold until then!

Just remember that some of Disney's better discount offers require ticket purchase.

If you purchase tickets prior to discount release, and you then need to buy a 2 day base to get a discount, your savings can be lost.

@ Tink1 - I got a 40% off a Deluxe room offer when I booked my next trip (October) while I was still on-property this last March...so I'm good that way.

I just want to avoid the park ticket price jump.
