Animal Kingdom Hair Braids

My DD's friend just came back from the world and had a hair braid / wrap that she got at AK. My DD is begging for one when we go in Sept. Does anyone know where in AK we can get a hair wrap / braid?

There is a stand, outside the main store that is on your left as you are walking towards the Tree of Life, I think it is Island Mercantile.

I thought they did the hair wraps outside by the pool at some of the resorts.:confused:

They do hair wraps by the pools of some resorts also. :thumbsup:

I've seen the wraps stations at resorts, AK and Downtown Disney.

But where do you get braids?

They also do them onboard the cruise ships. And note something ... if you're not happy with the braid a day or too later (it's loose or frayed), you can ask one of the other braiding groups if they would redo it (lost that hair, I'm afraid), and they probably will.

DD had her braid done onboard the Magic and it wasn't up to snuff ... redid it at a location that was at the time outside Pirates of the Carribbean and was very happy!
