We just visited WDW during spring break (week before Easter) and are going back in September for 5 days!

We had gone during spring break before, but this past time it was absolutely crazy! The crowds were beyond belief. MK closed to Phase 4 three times towards the end of our week. We are looking forward to going back without all the craziness.

For those of you who have been in early September, please tell me the crowds will be better. We have been in October and found that a little crowded, but not spring break crowds. How will the lines/stand by time be for the rides? Will fast passes be really necessary? Friends just came back last week and they said they really didn't even need FPs as most rides were only a 15 minute wait. That would be heaven :cloud9:.

Any advice? Thanks.

We were there last year, 1st week in Sept. Crowds were not bad at all. We had a great time. We did use FP's for a few rides, only because they're our favorites and wanted to ride more than once or twice.

The crowds in September will be nothing like Spring Break or the summer crowds. We've gone in September for the past 9 years and it's great.

well me and dw were also there in spring break and we are also going back in Sept, last year we were there in Sept for a long weekend trip and except for the first day which was a Thursday at Epcot , in which the crowds were very light, the rest of the time it was crazy. now that could be because it was the weekend , but we left on Monday and MK was packed. don't forget that they get allot of people for the free dining promotion, this time around it's going to be a full blown vaca 7 days so hopefully the start of the trip won't be so bad, but if it is no big deal we'll be in WDW the most magical place in the world:mickey:
