Wow, we really enjoyed our stay at CBR last week!
We got a great corner room in Aruba, building 56, room 5645 on the top floor. It was nice to have windows wrapping around the corner that let in a lot of light when we opened the blinds in the morning. The Nemo theme was really pretty. I loved the bedding.
Also, we practically had that entire wing to ourselves. We never saw a single person in the area, and heard absolutely NOTHING. We did see a couple people at the other end of the building, and it was always the same 2 people. We even got the same parking spot right in front of the building whenever we drove anywhere and returned (we liked it because it was a really wide spot). There were maybe 5 cars in our parking area the whole time.
Buses were usually pretty full, but the people came from other sections, especially Barbados and Trinidad north and south. We never saw more than a handful of people at ours.
We also got to watch a 6 ft. alligator swim in the lake right near the dock at the main building. We went to the pool bar for a drink our last night there, and the bartender mentioned it. So, we took our drinks and walked over to the deck. Sure enough, there he was. He was absolutely beautiful, and seemed a little too comfy around people. He hung around just a few feet away, but since we were up on the deck, we had no worries. We were told animal control was coming in the next day to relocate him. Hope that all went well. In our sick sense of humor, we named him Fluffy.
Overall we were very satisfied with our stay, and look forward to returning in October.
