Bag of gold

I heard that there is a bag of gold ( basically gold confetti in a bag) hidden in the caves at Tom Sawyer Island. Never found any is this true or just wishful thinking?

I'm not sure about that, but I do know that the CMs leave a paintbrush on the island. If you find this and bring it to the nearest CM, you get fastpasses to a ride in the area, I believe..

Not sure about the bag of gold.

DD found the paintbrush two years ago and we each received a Fast Pass that we used on Splash Mountain, but it was for any ride in the area.
